Dragon Singing. Autumnal Waters For flute and computer performed here by Derek Charke and Chung Shih Hoh, November 2002. This work is derived from a series of related works for solo/multiple woodwinds based on 'a Dragon Singing amidst Autumnal Waters' for solo saxophone. Open-form characterizes this series of works where the pathways set up by the composer in a musical labiyrinth interacts with the performer's exploration of the performance space. This piece is at once a concert piece, a performance art as well as a sound installation.
